Curriculum Add-Ons You Won't Find Anywhere Else
Beyond the Hammock
Adiyogam integrates two powerful complementary practices into every aerial training — traditional Mudgar conditioning and guided Ice Plunge rituals — preparing your body and nervous system for the demands and magic of aerial yoga.
Exclusive Add-On · Every Batch
Traditional Mudgar Training
Ancient Indian warrior practice using traditional wooden clubs — incorporated into our aerial training as an essential physical and energetic preparation tool. Mudgar builds the exact physical capacities that aerial yoga demands.
- Strengthens wrists, forearms, shoulders and grip — essential for hanging and inverting
- Trains joint stability and range of motion, reducing aerial injury risk
- Builds core control and spinal mobility for aerial fluidity
- Develops bilateral coordination — improving proprioception in the hammock
Exclusive Add-On · Every Batch
Guided Ice Bath Rituals
Our ice bath rituals are not a wellness trend — they are a transformational embodiment tool that directly prepares aerial yoga students for mental and emotional expansion. Invaluable for students working through the fear of suspension and inversion.
- Teaches nervous system control under stress — vital for inverting with confidence
- Sharpens breath awareness and builds tolerance for intensity
- Builds somatic trust and teaches students to stay calm in discomfort
- Supports recovery after intensive aerial practice sessions

Got Questions?
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before booking. Still have questions? We respond within 24 hours.
Who is the 50 Hour Aerial Yoga TTC for?
The program is designed for yoga practitioners (beginner to intermediate level), certified yoga teachers seeking CE hours, fitness coaches and movement artists. No prior aerial experience is required — genuine interest in yoga and movement is the only prerequisite.
What certification do I receive upon completion?
Graduates receive a 50 Hour Aerial Yoga Teacher Training certificate recognized by Yoga Alliance as YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider) hours. This is accepted globally as CE hours by registered RYT 200 and RYT 500 teachers.
Is prior aerial experience required to join?
No. The program is designed for beginners through intermediate practitioners. Our progressive curriculum starts from foundational aerial concepts and builds systematically toward advanced flows and teaching skills. You will be in the hammock from day one.
What is the difference between aerial yoga and regular yoga?
Aerial yoga uses a silk fabric hammock suspended from the ceiling to support and enhance traditional yoga postures. The hammock enables deeper stretches, safer inversions, spinal decompression and creative sequencing that is not possible on a mat alone. At Adiyogam it is grounded in Iyengar alignment philosophy.
Do I need to be flexible or strong to start aerial yoga?
Neither extreme flexibility nor exceptional strength is required. The hammock supports and assists the body in ways that make many asanas accessible to practitioners who find them challenging on the ground. Strength and flexibility develop naturally through the program.
What is included in the program fee?
All fees include accommodation (as per room type), three freshly prepared sattvic meals daily, all course materials and handouts, hammock and equipment access throughout, Mudgar training, guided ice bath sessions and your YACEP Yoga Alliance certification.
How can I continue learning after the training?
Adiyogam graduates join our alumni network — a community of certified aerial yoga teachers worldwide. You will have access to continued learning sessions, advanced workshops, career guidance and a network of fellow practitioners to support your teaching journey.
